This approach eliminates the traditional divide between the two disciplines, ensuring a unified vision from concept to completion. While we specialise in mid to high-end residential architecture and design, we are also experienced in and welcome a diverse range of project types.

Located in a 1920s heritage-listed block with sweeping views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this apartment is a celebration of bold pattern, colour, and texture—layered with restraint and reverence. Navigating heritage constraints with a spirit of creative defiance, the design draws from the vibrant post-war era to create something both nostalgic and contemporary.
The project has also been recognised by Design et al Magazine in The International Design & Architecture Awards, shortlisted in the Interior Design Scheme – Asia Pacific category. A meaningful dual recognition for a home that honours design history while reimagining it with clarity and confidence..

At BA Design, we have a strong contemporary aesthetic that stands the test of time. We term this 'Soft Modernism'. However, in each project, we aim to weave our clients’ personality and tastes, which makes each design singular. Beyond aesthetics, our focus is on creating liveable, sustainable and practical spaces that respond to brief, budget, and site. We concur with the tenets of the Slow Architecture Movement and believe that renovation can often be better than replacement..
